Edward W. Gray is Senior Advisor for Monetization and Artificial Intelligence. He is a practicing attorney and legal entrepreneur specializing in intellectual property. He is admitted to the bars of California, the District of Columbia, and Illinois. He brings over four decades of intellectual property and litigation management experience. Ed’s legal experience is combined with government and senior executive leadership in global corporate organizations.
Gray started his legal career at Kirkland & Ellis and was a Partner in Fitch, Even, Tabin & Flannery LLP, Morrison & Forester LLP and Thompson & Coburn LLP. His clients have included multinational corporations, trade associations, universities, and technology start-ups. His work consistently aligns intellectual property enforcement with commercial and organizational realities.
Ed is passionate about using artificial intelligence capabilities to accelerate and enhance portfolio evaluation, enforcement modeling, and licensing strategy. AI tools accelerate the analysis of IP assets using AI’s greater speed, pattern recognition and research abilities to quickly assess the economic and market position impacts of alternative strategies.
